+ About this release +
Not the typical blasting fare from Nattesorg! This is a very experimental album, mixing black metal elements with jazz music. (No vocals this time - all instrumental!) It's jumpy and groovy enough that you could probably dance to it, if you wanted to! Yet it also carries a very "insular" and "introspective" atmosphere, as a lot of Kenneth's music does. The end result is something we need more of: music that strikes a very fine balance between "niche" and "accessible"; "unusual" and "professional". I can see this album appealing to a very broad group of people.

Normally I have recommendations here, but honestly, this is completely new to my ears! Totally new, totally innovative. (Edit: Kenneth points out, fans of John Scofield may like this album!) The question now is simply, will the metal scene live by its claim of "not wanting a bunch of clones" and welcome a new project? Or will the scene do what it's done for decades: allow yet more innovation and originality to fall by the wayside?
