++ About this release ++
Please note this is not a black metal album. A far, far cry from Nattesorg's typical blasting madness, this is a wholly new experience to my ears, and I'm not sure how to describe it! Lacking any vocals or drums, this ONLY features a couple guitar and bass layers playing fairly random, half-harmonized melodies over each other. In a way, it can *almost* be compared to drone metal, in that it relies heavily on guitars, and creates a very hypnotic, introverted atmosphere. But of course, this is much more "lively" than drone.

This album is not meant for headbanging or for parties; this music is undeniably introspective and immersive in nature. The atmosphere is dark and bright all at once. The threshold to really "understand" this album and its (very intentional) obscurity will be a lot for many to surmount, but patient, open-minded listeners will be richly rewarded with a new album and overall new musical style and experience to enjoy.

There is no other music that I've ever heard that provides such a "headspace" as this music. I've certainly never heard music where instruments breaking harmony with each other *increases* the atmosphere, instead of detracting from it.
