This isn't the swinging, groovy sound one usually associates with jazz. This is very subdued and, like most APP music, it's "dark", yet not "malevolent", so to speak. Very contemplative and atmospheric; almost ambient in a way. Not metal, and not a regular thing here, but fits APP's ethos for sure.

All songs are instrumental.

Fans of Archie Shepp's "Montreux Two", John Scofield, etc will likely enjoy this!
