+ About this release +
Not really a metal album -- this is jazz, but a type I absolutely think black metal fans will enjoy. The drums are lo-fi, front and center, and at points, fairly dissonant. Meanwhile, the guitars and bass create a jazzy, introspective atmosphere that fittingly calls to mind that time of day where it's "dark before the moon". A bit of groove, but not so much that it'd turn away typical listeners!

Overall I think anyone who enjoys the "ethos" of black metal, and is open-minded to different styles, will find much to enjoy here. I was very interested in it, and was very happy when Kenneth approached APP with it!

Fans of Archie Shepp's "Montreux Two", John Scofield, and of course Nattesorg's "Unto the End" will likely enjoy this!
